Victoria Karkacheva & Stuttgarter Philharmoniker
19th November 2023We were delighted to continue our partnership with the Stuttgarter Philharmoniker and the Stadt Waiblingen Germany at the Bürgerzentrum with a series of concerts conducted by chief conductor Dan Ettinger.
Our alumna Emerging Artist mezzo-soprano Victoria Karkacheva sung an impressive variety of repertoire from Mozart to Wagner. A rising star, she is the winner of the First Prize and Birgit Nilsson Prize at Operalia 2021. Victoria is an alumna of the prestigious Young Artist Programme at the Bolshoi Theatre of Russia where she appeared as Aglaya in a new production of Weinberg’s The Idiot and third wood sprite in new production of Rusalka with Ainars Rubikis.
This 22/23 season will see Victoria make her return to Gran Teatre del Liceu for Olga Eugene Onegin and a concert version of Bartók’s Bluebeard’s Castle with Josep Pons and make her debut at Teatro alla Scala for Charlotte Werther. Victoria will make several returns to Bayerische Staatsoper for various engagements including Der fliegende Holländer, Otello, Pique Dame and Il trittico.
Future seasons will see her make exciting debuts at Teatro di San Carlo, Teatro Real Madrid, Wiener Staatsoper, Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, Grand Théâtre de Genève and Opéra National de Lyon.
